These terms govern access to and use of the public Mahlis website.

By using the Mahlis website, you agree to use it lawfully and in accordance with these terms. If you do not agree, discontinue use of the website.

Website purpose

Mahlis publishes information about product research, development decisions, prototypes, roadmaps and organizational plans. Public descriptions are intended to explain the work and its current boundaries.

A product page, article or roadmap entry does not mean that a product is complete, commercially available, clinically approved or suitable for a particular person or organization.

No medical service or advice

The Mahlis website does not provide medical diagnosis, prescriptions, treatment decisions, emergency triage or individual patient care. Website content is not a substitute for advice from an appropriately qualified healthcare professional.

Do not delay seeking professional or emergency assistance because of information published on this website.

Development information

Product descriptions and roadmap stages may change as research, testing, funding, staffing, technical constraints or regulatory requirements become clearer.

Mahlis aims to distinguish completed work from proposed work. Forward-looking statements describe direction and should not be treated as guarantees of delivery, performance or availability.

Contact-form use

The contact form may be used for genuine questions about Mahlis, its products, research or partnerships. It must not be used to:

  • submit unlawful, threatening or deceptive content;
  • send unsolicited advertising or automated bulk messages;
  • attempt to bypass website security or rate limits;
  • submit passwords, payment-card information or patient records;
  • impersonate another person or misrepresent authority.

Mahlis may decline, archive or delete requests that violate these terms or are unrelated to the website’s purpose.

Restricted administrator area

The administrator area is restricted to authorized Mahlis staff. Attempting to access an account without authorization, obtain credentials, interfere with sessions or evade security controls is prohibited.

Authorized administrators are responsible for protecting their credentials and ending sessions on devices they no longer control.

Content and intellectual property

Unless a specific page or repository states otherwise, Mahlis website text, branding, graphics and original materials are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

Linking to public Mahlis pages is permitted when the link is accurate and does not suggest an endorsement or relationship that does not exist. Short quotations may be used where permitted by law and where Mahlis is identified as the source.

Source code released through a public repository is governed by the licence included with that repository.

The website may link to external sources for context or research. Mahlis does not control external websites and is not responsible for their availability, security, privacy practices or accuracy.

Availability

Mahlis may modify, suspend or remove website functions for maintenance, security, legal or operational reasons. Continuous availability is not guaranteed.

Limitation

The website is provided for general information about Mahlis and its development work. To the extent permitted by applicable law, Mahlis is not responsible for loss caused by treating preliminary product information as medical, legal, financial or operational advice.

These terms are governed by the applicable laws of Ontario and Canada, without limiting rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Changes to these terms
